Our annual March to End Rape Culture Event is here!
As per our announcement, this year’s format will be different, shifting from a formal event format with tents and community tabling to a direct action where we will take the streets in protest.
It is incredibly important to us that we stand in solidarity with, as we always have, Black Liberation movements, uprisings, and actions, as ending Rape Culture has always and will always be tied to the Movement; our action this year will especially seek to emphasize that. All of our speakers will be Black, we are actively collaborating and seeking oversight from Black-lead groups, and Black bodies and voices will be actively centered even in the physical march.
Join us at Thomas Paine Plaza at 11am for our annual speakers (line-up protected for safety reasons) and then take to the streets to a second location to make our voices heard, hold solidarity with one another in survival, and fight for liberation from our chains.
As usual, we will have medics and trauma therapists at the event for any mental or physical health needs.
We look forward to seeing you there!
The MTERC Organizing Team
As always, this is an intersectional and liberation space. We do not work with cops. No racism, anti-Blackness, homophobia, transphobia, SWERF, TERF, classism, ableism, etc at this event. No one with abuse allegations may attend. Survivor and most marginalized identities centered.
