DAY OF ACTION – AUGUST 26th at 1pm outside Comcast headquarters. Demand internet access for all with Philly, DC, Atlanta, Chicago, Nashville, Minneapolis/St.Paul, and Oakland.
Nationally, we are demanding that the FCC expand its E-Rate program to include supporting students’ access to virtual learning and vote to make broadband a public utility.
For Philly specifically, we are building on MAP’s demands that Comcast increase its Internet Essentials speeds, lengthen its free trial period, and open its residential hotspots.
Speakers include Zach Wright, Sharon Dion from the Center for Black Educator Development, Teacher Paul Best, and students and parents.
COME OUT AND SUPPORT EQUITY, ACCESS & JUSTICE for ALL STUDENTS.
