BRING YOUR BANNERS! WEAR YOUR SHIRTS! BRING YOUR FAMILIES!

Commissioner Eddie Graham, along with the Multicultural Parents Association of Springfield Township, invite all of our families and friends to join us for a peaceful protest. So many of us have been impacted by not only George Floyd’s murder, but as of late, Ahmad Arbrey and Breonna Taylor as well. We speak their names and add them to the growing list of black and brown individuals who have lost their lives unjustly. Many have also been impacted by the hateful and divisive letter that circulated from Montgomery County Commissioner, Joseph Gale. We want to show solidarity as a community, along side our law enforcement, and make it clear that hate, injustice and racism have no place in our township. We welcome families (adults and children) to come unite, hear from local leaders (Rabbi Grife, Imam Hassan and Rev. Walsh) and take a moment of silence for approximately 9 minutes in memory of Mr. Floyd.

This event is rain or shine. Please wear a mask. Families may gather together but please distance from others in the park area. Lastly, this is a PEACEFUL demonstration. There is zero tolerance for any destructive or disruptive behavior.
